Robotic Locker System…

The aim of this project is to have an electronic system operating my school locker. The system needs to be able to lock and unlock the locker and also mechanically open the door. The door can be opened with a small wrist band that would have a micro-controller chip and an Infra-Red transmitter. The circuit inside the locker would detect the Infra-Red signal and open the locker when the wrist band is correctly orientated. It could also be opened with the Sonic Screwdriver as this device has the same Infra-Red codes on it.
